I Thought About You Today

I Thought About You Today


		I thought  about you today,
		I wanted to call and say,
		Thinking about you,
		But the day passed by,
		As all days do,
		And I didn’t get to call you,

		I thought about you today,
		Your happy, joyful way,
		I sent you an e-mail,
		To bring sunshine your way,

		I thought about you today,
		And I sent my thoughts your way,
		To hope you too were thinking about me,
		And then a letter arrived.
		And it was from you,
		You thought about me,
		Like I think about you.
