I think sometimes my dog wishes he had never been born

I think sometimes my dog wishes he had never been born.
He can sit there for hours and look so forlorn.
Especially after he's been repeatedly told "No!"
Then, his pretty face can turn into the picture of woe.
And then he's intent on letting his entire world know.
