I Think of You

I think of you young in the day, Wishing there was something I could say, Trying to find the right way, To beg u and plead u to stay, You’re my sunshine, One day you’ll see, You’ll find, You can’t live without me, Then we can live with all of thee, Spend our life together, And live a real life forever. I think of you in the bright sunny afternoon, Wishing I could build around us a permanent cocoon, So I’d never let you go, There must be someway to show, A way to let my feelings glow, I really don’t know how, Everything about you is just so wow, If only you could see me now. I think of you in the evening, My heart is still mending, All my love to you I am sending, It’s forever lasting and never-ending, This pain I have tried blending, Hiding it from everything, No such luck it’s you I am still wanting. I think of you in the middle of the night, I sit up and cry with all my might, Not knowing why, That no matter how I try, I can’t say good-bye, I live my life in a lie, Telling myself to stop showing the pain in my eyes. So now you see, I can’t break free, My heart cannot flee, You’ve got a grip on it, The flame here is still lit, Water won’t put it out one bit. Loving you is something I for some reason cannot resist.
