I Think of You
I think of you, beloved, when the sun’s bright
I hold the thought of you near, fighting to keep you with all my might.
I hold that thought close to heart, all the while making you mine,
Wishing we could be together, together, then I would feel fine.
I think of you beloved, when the wind blows cold.
The way you kept me bundled up, those thoughts never get old.
The way your gentle touch caressed my wind beaten face,
Filled my heart with love and passion, Lord, we sing Amazing Grace.
I think of you beloved, when the rain drizzles down
I never forget that umbrella incident, even though it caused me to wear a frown.
You keep me dry, sheltered from the rain
Beloved, when you don’t write, my heart is full of pain.
I think of you beloved, when the stars twinkle at night
For their twinkle resembles something I know-
You beautiful eyes, oh what a sight!
Beloved, Beloved, please don’t go
For my love will blossom like the spring flowers,
But only for you, because without you I don’t have a clue, my heart is truly blue!
I think of you , my love, with every passing day,
Every season, every hour, dreams of us never go away
I think of you, beloved, with joy, as in my heart you’ll always stay.
