I Think of You
When I try to remember who I am,
When in vain I try to actually feel,
When memories like ghosts are misty lines,
When I need someone to help me heal,
When my First Love calls and verses are born,
When I can’t sleep for hours on end,
When I see your eyes when I close mine,
When I need the voice of a true friend,
When I wonder how it might have been,
When I’m sometimes distracted by the weather,
When I remember two hands, so far away,
Followed young eyes and came together.
I think of you.
