I Think Ill Buy a Pet Today
i think ill buy a pet today
one to love
one to play
get all scratched up from their claws
one to sleep in my drawers
one to lay down by my feet
to wake me up when i over sleep
one to kiss
one to hug
i think ill name him
bob or doug
one to watch tv with
and a plate at dinner i shall give
one with wet food
and plenty of wine
sure he may get drunk
but he'll be fine.
one to miss me when im gone
to greet from a day thats long.
a friend for life he'll always be
my favorite pet
he will always have me...........
