I Talked To God Today
I talked to God today
Something I haven't done in an age
See I had a change of heart today
I wanted to be saved
I am not sure how it works
When I've gone so long
Not believeing in him
Not seeing his ways
Yet I talked to God today
And told him I was sorry
For strolling my own way
I had sinned and I knew that
I asked for his forgiveness
So I could get into Heaven
When my time had come
I let him know I loved him
I knew he was there for me
Cause I am his child
I finally had my wake up call
As I talked to God today
All I wanted to do was change
I was heading back to church
I was changeing my ways
No more sins
Jesus is my Lord
My father
My leader
And he is who I have chose to follow
