I Take You With Me

Breathe in the now salty air of yesterday Hear again the waves upon the shore Feel my hand gently touch upon yours Days like that, I wish that there were more Time has made itself our greatest enemy Wedging there between us, a barrier strong Though, it’s just like yesterday that I had found you And within your life, I knew that I’d belong My passing is not one that I had welcomed We knew that one day it was sure to end Be happy in the love that we had shared then Be happy in the love to you, that I now send Hear then upon the breeze, so gentle, blowing My voice as it so calls to you from here My love, I hold you deeply now, eternal Though gone from you, I still hold you ever near

Mike this is very evocative. Thanks for reading and commenting on my work. Watch out for the dreaded THAT makes sure it's totally necessary and adds rather than detracts from the importance of each sentiment. Light & Love Debbie Guzzi
