I Take You

I take your hand and place it near
My heart to hold forever and a year.

I take your smile and hold it tight
Because with it everything is right.

I take your eyes and stare right through
To your soul which makes my world so true.

I take your warmth and feel so secure
The outside world is just a blur.

I take your embrace and never let go
With it, your true feelings will show.

I take your love and give you mine
Together we will never pine.
