I Swear I Mean It

When I look at you, I see the life that's in your eyes. All the love that they hold for me, Makes me stronger than I was the day before. I can't help but stare, And admire the beauty that is you. You've made me complete. We've been to hell and back again, I remember that time we were in your bed, Cuddling and kissing, I held you close. You're all the love that my heart holds, The sun in the sky, and the moon at night. You're the dearest, my dear. I swear I mean it. I'm in love with not just your face, But the soul that your body holds. The beautiful light I can see inside, It makes me so happy I want to cry. You're everything I've ever wanted. Please don't take that from me. You're all the love that my heart holds, The sun in the sky, and the moon at night. You're the dearest, my dear. I swear I mean it. If I were to lose you, I swear I would lose myself. All those images burned in my retinas, Couldn't, wouldn't fade. I would never forget all the love that we've shared, Because you were truly my first.
