I Survived

As I contemplate over the years
I"m grateful for the sadness and tears.

My beloveth mom and dad were gone,
I felt so all alone.

The kidnapping and deceit that tried,
to rob me of my sleep,

Then You came along so I thought,
however, I was wrong.

          I was'nt really alone, I just didn"t,
realize within You I was at home.

I'm older and more mature now,
I never died, because of You, I survived

I'm glad you survived through your experiences. I am also glad it inspired this beauteous poem as well. Keep writing! Always, Laura
