I Suggested She Think of Something Else
and so she did
‘cuz she moves that way
and the earth always tries to keep up
in between the distractions that I offer her
and the chance that she actually gets to breathe
without me clinging to her ass
well that’s
just another season that passes here on earth
somewhere in between the quiet of me not pissing her off
and hungry children being fed somewhere
might be my only excuse
for losing the remote
