I Still Love You

It feels like yesterday, 
You were by my side.
I feel the warmth of you body, 
In your arms I could hide. 

Safe from the world, 
Free from the pain. 
Of what the world offers, 
I was so naive.

Time dragged out, 
As it does when your young. 
You take everything for granted, 
For life's just begun. 

For if I knew now, 
What I didn't then. 
I'd never let you go,
So our time would never end.

Now it's to late, 
25 years have gone by.
I'll love you for ever,
Your eldest boy.

Glad loves come from all.. my real mother never got to really hug me... but,,i long one day.... love your poem...always,..p.d.
