I Still Love

The stars seem for us to glow
they remember our love of long ago
Tonight by chance we again meet
you still cause my heart to skip a beat
All the memories of how we were
flooding my heart can't speak a word.

Holding hands we walk within shadow
like young lovers hiding in the night
How can this moment be happening
my emotions are far from being right

How can a night so beautiful be so cruel
How can life so full feel so empty
Without the one
Without the one
                          I still love.

Our love is chained apart by her ring
what a guy he is to keep her love true
All we have is our lost dreams
tearful parting as we do what we should do.

Sorrow makes the heart stronger
to much happiness can make a soul weak
Wishing something never happened
cannot force life to be so neat
The stars dim to darkness
as the night weary for sleep.

How could a night so beautiful be so cruel
How can a life so full become so empty
Without the one
Without the one
                            I still love...
