I Smile At Her Smugness
Free winds breezing through my hair
ruffling it up, delighting in it,
faeries laughing lightly, barely heard
A summers day, smell of fresh grass,
red tulip staunch and proud
holds her own in the garden.
I smile at her smugness,
dragonfly flits past, an ugly color
but pretty in her niceness
Sun feels happy,
exuberant, loving.
I glory in the beauty of today.
