I Should of Known

I should have known
from the start
That you never cared
enough
To really keep a
promise

If I'd known ahead
of time
We would have never
got this far
But I stood by you
anyway
Thinking if I did,
you'd change your
mind
And really go ahead
and say our vows
In front of everyone
that we knew
But now I know the
truth

If only I had looked
into your eyes
I would have seen
the way you really
felt about me.
