I Should Have Tried

by Parizo Van Thulare

The darkest cloud in my city
Accompanied by thunderstorms those that are creepy
Yet I'm feeling guilty
How did my mind get so tiny ?

That time is wasted
Those days are busted

Maybe if i could
I would have
Maybe if i tried
My hands wouldn't be so tied
Maybe if cried
Then maybe the pain would have gone
And the heart wouldn't be filled with such hatred

I had that chance to make things right
It was that season to turn on the light
Instead i picked a wrong flight
Maybe the future would be so bright
