I Should Have Killed Her

Led by a strong unseen hand
But I couldn’t do it
My own proud weakness

Deuteronomy 22: 13-21
A marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin.
If the wife is not a virgin she shall be executed

Very provocative thoughts expressed here, Nigel. I wasn't familiar with that passage from Deuteronomy, but there'd be a lot of brides killed on their wedding nights if everyone followed this advice. Intriguing indeed! Love, Carolyn

Sometimes we do feel this way Nigel.. Bible interpretation written in that time era has intensified in today's modern world.. I went to Bible School for three years long ago.. and eventually the way we read and absorb God's Word is guided by His Light to open our minds to what it really states.. luv your creative expression in this piece..with luv..
