I Should Feel Vengeance

i should feel vengeance or be angry in some way

but i'm happy to let you know today is a new day

i will not sit in this empty apartment suffering over the fact

that you left without a notice and you knew i wouldn't approve of that

now you are free to go off and do what makes you happy

and do what you please

i keep thinking how did we get this far 

was it something i said to you or what i done

we were suppose to be together for a lifetime but i guess fate had its own plans

and you noticed before me

where was my mind that i couldn't wrap this around the obvious

i should feel vengeance or be angry in some way

but since it was your decision to step out into a new life

i have accepted that no matter how bad it hurts
