I Should Be Asking
Today I should be asking you
How did you make that rosy hue
Show up now upon my face
And take me to this wondrous place
Of utter contentment
And heartfelt sentiment
A beautiful spectrum
Of desires that beckon
A golden array
Of colors to stay
And surround us with beauty
As hope is on duty
I love you to pieces
Beyond my own reasons
And hold your heart dearly
Close by me and clearly
You were a shot in the dark
But turned into a spark
And Ignited a flame
That forever will rage
And long for you darling
My one true prince charming
