I See Your Face Everywhere I Go

Your image appears all the time and everywhere I look and see
It brings out all kids of emotions deep within me
I see it in the sand before the tide washes it away
I see it in the clouds on a bright sunny day

I have to move on from your passing but it hurts even though it doesn’t show
But it’s so hard to do it because I see your face everywhere I go

I see it in the shadows where there is no light
I see it in the stars when I gaze at them at night
I see it in many things and it makes me always recall
I see it in my own reflection which affects me most of all

I see it in the water when I wash my own face
I see it in the little things that are overlooked and out of place
I see it in everything and it reminds me of the past
One thing is for certain your memory will always be with me and forever last
