I Saw You Standing Wearing a White Gown

i saw you standing wearing a white gown
upon your head was a golden crown
and violet filled the room around you.
why watch the sunrise
when i can watch you rise?
your golden hair
your pale soft skin
of all the women
of all the nations
none surpass your beauty.
love was born in the darkness
you brought me into the light.
