I Saw the Light

I saw the light
I walked on by
It didn't even catch my eye
But I should watch 
Just where I tread
For then the light fell on my head

It hit the ground
There's shattered glass
My life before my eyes did pass
But I'm OK
Yes, I'm alright
I guess you'd say, I saw the light

Not me - my niece was the one that got hit by the light.  I just wrote this poem for her.
