I Saw My Friend Crying

Yester night, I saw my friend crying
Tears trickling down like she’s dying
And the agony’s rhythm comes singing
As she in angst deeply sinking.

I ask her, “What’s the matter?”
Words weren’t enough for her to uttered
For her comfort- words I fluttered
Then I contemplate “her day was shattered”.

I watched the glistening tears rolling by
I’d offered my shoulders for her to cry
Letting go the deepest sigh
How I wish- pain, said goodbye

She is a friend I used to know
I commune with her in joy and sorrow
In darkness and in glow
Today or beyond tomorrow.
