I Saw a Poem Dancing
Nature's up at break of day,
revealing beauty around me lay.
I see the sunrise flashing through,
coloring the hills purple and blue.
A squirrel scampers through dew wet grass,
a nut in is cheeks as he hurries past.
I listen to a far off waterfall,
and hear chirping birds sing their mating call.
Brown and yellow butterflies
delight my ever searching eyes.
And wild flowers fragrant and sweet,
smell like my Savior, someday I will meet.
Now a balmy breeze blows through my hair,
and a poem dances in the air.
