I Sat On the Beach

I sat on the beach

I sat on the beach overlooking the sea;
Watching the waves showing God's majesty;
I asked Him why I had to keep staying strong;
Why He had tested me so hard and so long.

He showed me a beautiful sunrise;
To see the hope of a new day through His eyes,
To give me strength to carry on;
Step into a new day with my heart's song.
