I Rested Here
I Rested Here
A light rain came upon me while I slept
Lay gently all around
A coat of dew my blanket
My pillow the hard ground
But my slumber is not real
Synthetically induced
By fifty white and orange pills
A final, fatal boost
But please don't mourn my passing
For me please shed no tear
Simply place a sign in this sweet earth
To say 'I rested here'
