I Remember Your Birth

L-et twenty-ninth December A-im to meet the dawn; A-llow Thursday sun to come, R-ising above the horizon. N-ew morn has broken, bringing freshness to the day; I-t erases the Wednesday night, as the shadows fade away. C-old chill has vanished, A-s well as the haze; R-aindrop has turned I-nto a red beacon's face. A-llow my acrostic to meet, G-reet and wish you mirth; A-s the dawn is shining, I remember your birth.
