I Remember
I remember what you wore on our first day
you knew just exactly the right things to say
I remember all the looks that showed up on your face
everywhere we went, even the exact place
there was absolutely nothing that you could do
that would of prevented me from falling for you
I remember the way the butterflies made my stomach felt
when you looked me in the eyes, my heart started to instantly melt
if I could literally hand you and give you my heart
that deed would have been done from the beginning, right from the start
I promise you baby, that I have nothing to hide
I just want you to know what I feel deep down inside
I remember that spark from when we first met
introducing me to a feeling that I'll never regret
every night I lay in my bed
cant get you out of my mind, not out of my head
everything that I feel, feels like I'm in paradise
as I sit here and I always start to fantasize
when I'm with you,you shine as bright as a star
I love everything that you do, everything that you are
I need you, you make me stand strong
as you tell me to learn from what is right and what is wrong
and in the end of all this, I know that we truly do belong.
