I Race To Win

Every time I lace up my tennis shoes
I’m always ready I don’t know about you
We can't win all the time; but we can win some of the time
Hope holds great promise, your opportunities unknown,
But God is always helping, and you're never alone.
Trust could be very thin
But, with trust, let it begin
As I look into the mirror, my eyes, my life look empty
You want excuses for such words, don't worry I've got plenty
Complaining has got me no where and I'm on my way to nothing
I know that I can do it, I can live and become something
Failure is definitely nothing I fear
I know that my focus keeps success far from here
The opposition all around me will not get in my way
I know that circumstances, people, and things that I need
Will come to me as I focus at an disturbing rate of speed
To exceed in the test
Leave to God the rest
I heard it in my spirit to do not give up and do not stop;
All I wanted was to be the one at the top.
Keep the pace, life goes by fast
So do not stop pushing forward complete your task
