I Quit!

Snowflakes falling light but steady
Watching them, I feel like I am ready
Contemplating, as I slowly inhale
I know this will become a story to tell
I have an addiction, don't you see?
I am quitting these that are killing me
I write this as I have my very last
Now, addiction will be a thing of the past
Not wanting the moment to end
I am walking away from my oldest friend
