I Pray For You Today

I say a prayer
For you today
Hoping the devil
I can chase away

His clutches closer
To ensnare your mind
Trying to outsmart him
Failing much in kind

I say a prayer
For you tonight
To put Jesus first
And never give up fight

To be humble and serve
Our dear Lord above
Free from all sins
His everlasting love
