I Pray For My Son
I pray that my son would make
his heavenly father proud.
May the lifestyle he chooses
not be "under a dark cloud."
May the choices he makes
be God's perfect will.
May God's promises
in his life be fulfilled.
May he daily look to God
for much needed direction.
And yield to the Holy Spirit
for divine correction.
In the path of life... May he listen
to God's voice.
Above everything ese...
May God be his first choice!
May the love of his parents
be placed on his heart.
So the Godly principles he was taught...
Won't depart!
May he seek God's word for much
needed wisdom & advice.
And neglect the false idols of this world,
without thinking twice.
May God's word be the foundation
of everything he does.
Knowing that it is he,
whom his heavenly father loves.
As you keep him Lord in your
tender mercy and care.
May he never forget the
awesome power of prayer!
Thank you Jesus for my
wonderful son indeed.
For it's you, oh Lord...
that is all he'll ever need!
