I Praise You

I praise you for the victory
no matter what comes my way.
I praise you for the victory
With all I do and say.

There is no weapon strong enough
to take me from this life.
When the times start becoming rough,
I keep my tongue from strife.

I write this for my Lord and King,
it’s He who keeps me going.
It’s He who makes my heart to sing
And His love I’ll keep on sowing.
