I only wish to know my heart I only wish to love I only wish to learn new things I only wish to live above I only wish to understand I only wish to grow I only wish to touch the stars I only wish to know I only wish to some how forget I only wish to see I only wish to learn to cry I only wish to be

This poem speaks for so many of us. We all have the same wishes, I believe. Thank you so much for commenting on my poems, you are kind. The one called "Smoke" called to me today, since we too live in the Northern Sacramento Valley, caught in between the Paradise fires, and the Trinity fires. Smoke has been a part of our lives all summer, but we are the fortunate ones, compared to those who have lost so much. Thank you for your nice words. Your friend, Carrie

All those things you wish for, I am wishing for you, too. A beautiful reflection of your shining soul. Love, Shar

Wishes do come true my friend, it's a matter of believing and making them happen just as your are doing in your life now. I respect you so much for what you told me and the man that you are now. Excellent poetry, it's filled with the author. Michael
