I Once Loved
I once loved
Unspoken words to that bleeding heart,
A heart of a young girl who once loved.
That smile everyone was talking about,
It wasn't a smile,But then tears of a little girl covered by her scars.
I wasn't really smiling,
That smile was a metaphor,
For the destruction of pain and anger.
They did not tell me it would hurt like this, none warned me.
Love left me broken.
If only I knew"the voice of a little girl".
It hurts to bad, nothing made sense,
Only love did.
And it love still.
I didn't leave because I stopped loving,
I left cause the wounds were sore.
I couldn't find the ballads,
Or read a books dedicates of writing grief.
Brooding about love.
That was a little girl talking, about her scars that made her strong.
Behind her, lies a broken little girl who have to find courage and put the puzzle together someday if not today.
They are talking because they don't know that little girl
Once loved.
