I Once

I once dreamt of a dream
Which lead me to another
I once had what I have
To keep, when lost again
I once saw what I’ve seen
Repeating itself right over
I once took what I’ve taken
Gaining no more or less
I once sung what I’ve sang
With no changing melodies
I once wished for a wish
To wish forever more
I once spoke what I’ve spoken
To make sure of its truths
