I Now Have a Cleaned Out Heart

You cleaned out all the cobwebs
From my heart that was so dead
And covered with years of dust
And tears turning it to rust
From becoming hard as steel
There was nothing I could feel
I just gave up and shut down
Cause of dirty lies around
Each one like a speck of dirt
That kept building and would hurt
Me so much I didn't care
About the buildup everywhere
In my heart ans inner soul
It got so out of control
I was being suffocated
And never anticipated
I would find some truth in you
To help me clear out the "poo"
From the stinky dirty lies
Now each day my heart can rise
Free from dust, dirt and the rust
It's starting clean, now I can just
Wake up with a heart that glitters
No more crappy hurtful litter
Left in it to hold me down
As you hold me safe and sound
