I Never Thought God Existed

I never Really thought god existed I always thought he was man made A figment of our imaginations An imaginary friend who we can trust Who we can pray to for support and guidance I never really thought god existed For I thought if he did he wouldn’t Let these bad things happen to us Especially on that September day When we lost something so precious I’ve come to realize when we loose something We don’t loose it all We only loose a part of it I never really thought god existed Until I prayed for a friend Only then did I realize he does exist Because he gave me you A friend who cares A friend who I can laugh and cry with A friend who likes to tease me about things. One who don’t judge me
