I Never Really Knew

I never really knew we were this close as friends.
But now I see we're like best friends.
Now we talk more and do things together.
But we're still not that kind of together.
We have our good times and then our
bad times.  But most the time we have
good times.  We have our ups and our downs.
But you still haven't made me frown.
We have our laughs and our jokes.
But our friendship still hasn't broke.
