I Never Learn

A smile cuts like a knife,
A grin filled with strife.
The wrong message sent,
A facade lies that’s bent.
Don’t talk to me, it’s a charade
Empty words; it is a game you play
I built barriers and walls of stone
What you are I’m better off alone.
You are trash and as dumb as a rock,
Toxic waves, triggering a bomb’s clock.
Poison in my veins, my anger burns
The more I fight, seems the less I learn.
I never learn, I never learn, I never learn
Stand back; we both know what is ahead,
A ticking bomb leaving my heart dead
Don’t send your friends to tell your deeds;
I know where you go, what fuels your needs.
“Everyone knows who you are doing!”
Your laughter is like chains in my mind,
I’m done playing nice; won’t be confined.
Keep your distance in the shadows remain,
This was a storm and you left only pain.
You are trash and as dumb as a rock,
Toxic waves, triggering a bomb’s clock.
Poison in my veins, my anger burns
The more I fight, seems the less I learn.
I never learn, I never learn, I never learn
Don’t touch my hand; it’ll sting
Darkness is what you bring.
Dreams of death and decay;
Let me escape and fade away.
Smoke and mirrors; you don’t care
A counterfeit, a mask worn of fear
After what you did it is best unspoken;
It’s better than having your arms broken
You are trash and as dumb as a rock,
Toxic waves, triggering a bomb’s clock.
Poison in my veins, my anger burns
The more I fight, seems the less I learn.
I never learn, I never learn, I never learn, I never learn…
