I Never Had You

From the start I loved you
Gave you my all
We was happy so I thought
But little things kept going wrong
I think what hurts the most
It's not that I don't have you that hurts me
It's that I never had you

I loved so deeply so complete
I gave my heart and key to you
You opened it and walked in
Then you broke it into
Just when I thought you loved me

I guess I was to happy
To notice all the little things
That tore us apart
But when I stop and think
I never had a chance

You only wanted me for a while
Then you walked away
When I needed you the most
I never had you
