I Never Did Sign
You are my person
Why are you Ill
My mouth, your burden
Your ears, my pill
I loathe this concoction
Of you and I
But see, no more options
You are, my supply
You are my husband
And, I, your wife
This is not just pretend
This is our life
This is our future
This is our past
Me, as one, is a blur
The years went by fast
So drop this resentment
The load isn’t mine
Your rage comes off twisted
I never did sign
I don’t deserve bitter
I did not earn shame
I’m not your foe sitter
I won’t bear this blame
