I Needed

I needed you today
a light to show the way
but you can't read my mind
those tricks leave you blind

I needed help today
someone to say it will be ok
but there's no time for me
a truth that I now see

I needed a friend today
but I just get in your way
I'll figure it out by myself
without anybody's help
