I Need You

Through wind and rain
Through any pain
Your always there
You always care

When my words are vile
When I'm in denial
Your always there
You always care

When I throw myself down
You lift me from the ground
Your voice is the sound
That keeps me around

Without you I'm lost
I can't be found

But now you've left
You've slipped away
What more could I say to make you stay

I need you to be here
To know I'm okay
Some times it's only your words
That get me threw the grey.

So here I'll lay
until that day
I find you again
I'll bear the wind.

Well-expressed universal sentiments of the human condition. Again, I am wondering if "threw" was your intended spelling. I ask because it lends a different feeling and I am curious, if intentional, why you chose that word (not that it detracts from the poem at all). :)

Hi Kalee, sad when we depend on others. I once had this love for my x-.. when he was not around, I felt as if I was unmovable.... I hope this wind finds you again... smiles from me to you... xox..Linda
