I Need You
I want someone to hold me tight
when im angry and frustrated
tight enough to hear there heartbeat
to know that I am safe
I need someone to wipe away my tears
and replace my pain with care
to stand by me, and protect me and guide me
I need someone to always be there for me
someone to never ever give up on me
even when things get hard.
Too hard
I need your touch, your affection
to make me feel whole
and make me feel all fuzzy inside
I need you to call me all those names like honey,
sweetie, darling and baby
To show me how much you care and how special i am
Whenever I am stressed out
I need you to calm me down
relax me, hug me and tell me everything is alright
and it will be okay
no matter how big the problem is
I need you to be kind
even when you had a bad day
I need you to love me and cry with me when i am sad
When im rude and naughty
I need you to forgive me
And when I talk to you
I need you to listen
I need you to understand and help me with things that are hard
And keep cool when im under pressure
And most of all I need you to put me first and make me your everything,
I am struggling here and you cant even see
Because I love you mum,
but i often think whether or not you love me
