I Need To Walk Around This Place
I need to walk I need to stroll I need to explore these ancient paths
That fills this landscape showing the way for timeless travel
To reach destinations deep inside the forest or on a Maypole green
Or to reach the sea or mountain high so much for one to marvel
I do it for I love this land its hedges brooks animals and flowers
I grew up here always drawn to the beauty and simplicity of its being
Then the concrete jungles came filled with a different feeling called fear
I want none of this I don’t need these eyes sad at what their seeing
Apparently it’s called creation it took 6 days to create one day to rest
Why not take the rest day put a wall around creation beauty contained
Anybody on the outside could have a featureless landscape to build up
Towards a sky where apparently the god’s live contemplating our pain
Leave us alone with what’s left of paradise let us smell the flowers
There’s so many of you and so few of us we won’t be much trouble
But after a while you’ll tire of us and want taller and taller temples
And finally this spaceship called earth will finally burst its bubble
