I Need Time To Heal

Tell me why, but tell me True-
Spare me the heartbreak of a Lie
I would lay forever in these meadows...
Forever, until I die!
To rid myself of all the Pain,
And the Sorrows of what I feel
To ease my Mind, my worried Brain
(Lord! The Cuts! I need to heal)

Absolutely lovely poem. It really captures the hopeless feeling many of us feel, and the longing to just feel alright again. Definitely faved :)

I don't know why, but when someone says they have made me or one of my pieces a "favorite", I feel sheepish and...unworthy, I guess. It humbles me to my core and touches me deeply. Thank you, Grace; you've made my morning wonderful :)

Oh my..such eloquent words to describe a very upsetting challenge in life. I have a family member who I recently found out does this. My heart sinks. You are an absolutely brilliant writer :)

I am much too humble to accept such an accolade, but it touches my heart to hear someone say that, and I cannot thank you enough. It's still something with which I still struggle, and probably always will. Thank you again for stopping by and leaving such thoughtful comments <3
