I need
I need to take the darkness away that is in my unhappy life.
I need to scoop the poison out with a spoon and not a knife.
I need to start again to put my sadness in the past
But happiness is not forever you know it will not last.
I need to smile on the outside but I’m screaming for within
Where do I find happiness where do I begin.
To find what I am looking for I have to start with me
To see myself in my own reflection and be happy being me.
