I Must Say Goodbye

It's time for me to leave my dear, 
So I must say goodbye. 
As I turn my face this day, 
Promise me you will be ok. 

If you cry, my heart will break; 
I know leaving you is no mistake 

I must go now, but be forewarned 
Our paths will cross again 
but this time in heaven my friend 

I have to walk away from you, 
So I'll say goodbye. 
As I turn my face away, 
Promise me you won't cry 

This day heaven is awaiting for me 
you see, i tried to take care of you 
but God had more for me to do 

He has called me home 
and I can be reached on his Holy Throne 
So don't think you will ever be alone 
You must be strong and continue to go on
